How I’ve Managed To Boost My Energy in This Economy

Since have given birth to my daughter, I have lost all my baby fat and have managed to feel my best ever.

I love the way my skin glows and how my hair is growing at the moment.

I have included delicious and refreshing blend of homemade juices and smoothies into my diet. They are fun and easy to make, packed with my five a day portions, as they are packed with the healthiest ingredients that Mother Nature has to offer.

I wake up in the morning to make myself a nice low-carb, guilt-free pleasure smoothies. The more colorful fruits and vegetables the better, for example: green cucumbers, black beans, orange sweet potatoes, purple grapes, yellow corn, and red lettuce.

By drinking raw fruits and vegetables, I look and feel so much healthier. Here are 5 recipes to has helped me feel my best in this ecomony.

Cranberry Juice

When I drink this juice it gives me a boost of energy. It’s a refreshing drink filled with nutrients. It’s thick, creamy texture is filled with essential vitamins. Cranberries are a good source of antioxidants that play a role in preventing heart disease and some cancers.

TRY THIS:
2 cups Cranberries
1 Apple

Simply toss the cranberries and diced apple into a blender. Delicious with plenty of ice.

Cucumber, Pear, and Melon Mixed

I love having this juice for breakfast. I remember having it every morning just after gaving birth to Zaina. It gave my body a great boost. Cool cucumber slices and feel-good fruits are jam-packed with goodness. This energizing drink improves digestion and helps build up my immune system.

TRY THIS:

125g (4 oz) Asparagus Spears
¼ Melon
175g (6 oz) Cucumber

Juice the ingredients until smooth. Serve and decorate with asparagus spears.

Kiwi Grape Juice

This is a nice tropical explosion with an exceptionally tasty treat that cleanses my body. Grapes can help rid your system of toxins, and kiwis are full of essential nutrients.

Juice the ingredients and serve. Decorate with a slice of kiwi.

Strawberry Smoothie

When I want to give myself treat, I indulge myself with a Strawberry Smoothes. This smoothie is rich, thick and creamy. Heaven

TRY THIS:
6 Large Strawberries
½ cup Soy Yogurt
1 cup Soy Milk

Blend ingredients well and serve in chilled glasses. Decorate with a strawberry.

Juiced Lettuce

Lettuces also make a good drink. It doesn’t have to be used as salad alone. I love juicing them. They are fun and easy to make. The darker the leaves, the more nutritious the vegetable, Lettuces have very few calories and are loaded with vitamins A, B-6, C, K, and folate. They are also good for the skin, hair, and liver. I make this once a week. Love it.

2 Lettuce Heads
1-2 tbsp Oil
Salt

Wash and dry lettuce leaves.
Add oil and salt, then juice.

Five Things I Adore Right Now

Homemade Milkshakes: Ever made a milkshake in a blender, only to realize when you try to pour it out that half of your milkshake is still inside, coating every surface? I’ve been making a lot of protein milkshakes this summer, and as a woman that just gave birth I am not pleased to have to sacrifice any of my chocolate ice cream to the blender! Luckily we’ve got a hand blender, the kind that is basically a stick with a blender blade on the bottom, and can be placed directly into a glass. You don’t end up losing much ice cream at all. Priceless.

Body Pillow. I have the usual aches and pains associated with my pregnancy. Although, I still wake up with aches and pains, I can’t imagine how much worse it would actually be without a body pillow. Some buy special (read: more expensive) pillows that are labeled special for maternity, but I have never made the splurge.

Google Reader. This is a great tool and so much fun to use! No more will I lose track of all those great crafty blogs that I keep meaning to check on. Oh no, Gmail and Google are the master of invention and have made it super easy. Best of all, I can share fun blogs with my “friends”. Okay, so right now, that just consists of my sister, but it’s still fun.

Crocs Athen Sandals. They’re flip flops. And they’re super comfortable – even when pregnant, heck, especially when pregnant. I’ve worn them all summer. Especially as the humidity has effected my poor feet and swelling has taken place. I’ve even walked around the Oakland Zoo and the Cleveland Metro Parks Zoo while wearing them. Way more comfortable than even a great pair of tennis shoes for me.

Salads as lunches: I’ve been lazy to cook hot meals, and sandwiches get boring quickly. One of my favorite alternatives is a meal-sized salad. Besides some of the regular salad veggies, such as tomatoes, carrots, onions, or cucumbers, you can use some nutrient-rich beets or spicy radishes. Of course, to really be satisfying a salad needs some heartiness and protein. As i don’t like chicken, I add some bacon or tuna fish instead and or I put in a couple of different varieties of beans, but either way works. It may seem odd at first, but grains are also great addition! Quinoa is most protein-packed grain, is cooked the exact same way as rice, and is still good cold on salad. I like to make some ahead of time in the rice maker so I can take it straight from the fridge and mix it into my salad greens. If quinoa is a little out there for you, couscous (a tiny pasta) is another option for adding some carbs. Mix it with some warm broth, let it sit a few minutes, and sprinkle it in the salad. Top the whole thing with your favorite salad dressing, and you might just get out of your lunch rut.

It’s is so simple to setup even if you don’t know anything about technology. Wordpress is also another blog that is easy to use. You can have it installed on your web server if you already have a website. By having this install on your website you can have visitors that like what you’re writing about visiting your main business website.

When you have a blog full of relevant content it helps establish you as an expert in your field, and this is important if you want prospects to do business with you. Prospects are much more likely to use your service or purchase your products if they see you as an expert in a particular topic. Give your views on the latest events in your industry, offer reviews of related items and comparisons of several items. You will be surprised about how the information you giving them can help business you authoritative status. The next time they need to buy a certain product or need help with something in that area, they will think of you first.

Maintaining a Successful Business Blog

You need to post regularly to make to have a successful blog. This content needs to be informative, accurate, and written in a way that will appeal to your readers. Every blog demands different content and by producing the right content on a regular basis will lead to great profits.

You need to fine the right time to link to at least one page on your main web site. Make sure you don’t get carried away by placing too many links or linking on your posts but if you mention a particular product, link the name of that product to the corresponding page on your site.

Alternatively include a paragraph at the bottom of the page that includes a link to a related resource (on your own page, or an affiliate link). If you’re using a blog to make money through affiliate links then you should be careful to only use affiliate links in a relatively small proportion of your posts.
