What’s the WOW Factor That Make’s You Stand Out In the Crowd?

by godsfree · 7 comments

There was an article I wrote a few months ago about  a 35 Year Old Who Has Become a Multi Millionaire by Selling Nothing More than Shoes.  In this article I listed the WOW factors that made Tony Hsieh the creator of Zappo.com a multi millionaire dollar business owner selling shoes.

3699832401 d02fa349cb Whats the WOW Factor That Makes You Stand Out In the Crowd?

To have a great a successful business you need to stand out from the crowd and have what I call the WOW factor.

When you know what make’s you different your business with rapidly take off.

What ever you have to offer needs to help solve your audience problem in a unique way. Those that realize this take advantage and showcase it in their marketing and that’s what makes them successful. In other words, they take what they know how to do and they “milk it in a very unique way”.

What ‘am offering to my audience in not new, there are loads of blogs and websites out there that teaches people how to increase their income but I have to make sure that there’s a reason why people should come visit, read or buy from me.

This is what I‘ve been doing to get fans, and beat my competitors.

Zappos.com – The King of Customer Service

Zappos.com, is known to be the best web-based company that sells shoes online. He entered the market at the very early stage and he has  managed to rise to the top pretty quickly. I don’t really like buying shoes online, I prefer to try it on and see how it fits, but Zappo.com has been able to wow my experience. They have great customer service and I believe this has helped them stand out in the crowd and while showcasing their WOW factor. Some even calls it “over the top” customer service, and they are not ashamed to let people know this is what they are all about.

My Blog

What I’ve managed to do with my blog even though it’s young and definitely have a long way to go is, I give real life examples and tips about small business marketing from my own experience, and I get fairly detailed about what I do.

Most of my readers love my attention to details, they love reading the details about what I’ve done to increase my earnings online and my plans for a successful future.

As I said, I still have a long way to go. I plan to take what I know how to do and “Milk it” even more. I’m in the process of writing a series of articles on how I’ve managed to launch my business in 90 day and this series is going to be turned into an eBook, this eBook is going to be part of my living as a fabulous Wealthy Entrepreneur experience. You’ll see more details about this later.

So whatever you have to bring to the table, you need to find a way to get noticed by showcasing your WOW factor and using this has your marketing tool.

Let Me Ask You This:

“What are you doing to showcase your WOW factor to stand out from the crowd?” Really ask yourself…right now.

If you know the answer, then you’d better make sure your target audience know that too. If you don’t know the answer, then you’d better figure out what it is that you want people to notice.

This was most helpful. My WOW factor is my personal service and commitment to my client to make every experience with my company a memorabel one. this is shown by cross marketing. My concierge website, http://www.tdtheconcierge.com and http://www.tdsandersandmore.com. Love what you are sharing with the small business person world!

What a generous offer, Joyce. I’m Jessie and list you on Twitter and belong to the Women’s Marketing Forum. I love the exposure you offer, and I love to share my WOW factor / competitive edge / USP. This is something that I stress to my clients (primarily self-employed business owners themselves) as well. To build a sustainable platform and a sustainable business you absolutely have to have a WOW factor. I have an entire page on my Website devoted to just why I’m the ebook ghostwriter for a business owner, but I try to stress this throughout my Web copy and anywhere else that I bring my marketing message. My unique factors are my focus on value and my understanding of self-employed business. I’ve been a self-employed business owner my entire working life–across many industries and professions I’ve started seven businesses. I’m an avid networker and I make it a practice to be around other self-employed business owners, get to know their businesses and their WOW factor. I then create an ebook that elucidates that WOW factor in the most dynamic way possible. Please do contact me if you have any questions and want to pull some “sound bites” Joyce. Thanks for this opportunity.

Hi Joyce, always a joy to connect with a fellow marketer. Even though I have defected and become an employee for someone else, I still want to maintain my personality through continued social networking. My next project is to create a new Wordpress.org blog just for me, not for any more businesses. Then I’ll be able to explore, explain, promote, refer, recommend, share, describe and write about what I think in the world of marketing and design, free from the constraints of trying to make a business work. Meanwhile read all my posts, which have been amalgamated into my http://alicedesigns.wordpress.com blog for the time being, to see what I’m really like and what I have to say!
