TRY THIS: To build a small business you need to have written or documented procedures for every task you do so that these tasks can be taken over by other people. If your business can’t run without you – then you have a job.
McDonald’s was established on procedure manuals. It’s their BIBLE. That’s why all McDonald’s store runs in the same way despite dealing with a variety of different suppliers, locations, climates, rental situations and more.
Now you know the reasons why you create business that grows by itself with little effort. Why don’t we explore my step by step system to creating my own procedures?

Begin analyzing all the tasks you perform on a day to day basis and create policies and procedures for performing all of these tasks. Immediately outsource less important and non essential task or stop doing them altogether.
Have your staff create written or documented policies and procedures for every task they perform in your business.
Every week invest an hour with your staff in improving the policies and procedures for one small key task in your business.
