I created the sentence “The Big list” from watching the movie “The Bucket List”. I didn’t want to use the sentence “The Bucket List” because of the negative feeling I was getting from it. A big list is a wish list of all the goals I want to achieve, dreams I want to fulfil and life-experiences I desire to experience before I get really old. My big list was inspired by the movie The Bucket List (2007) about two terminally ill men (Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman) who set off to achieve a list of things they want to do before they die.
 Â
Why Create A Big List?
Why do you want to have a Big list? Ever feel your days are passing by without any tangible output to speak of? What were your accomplishments in the past 3 months? Do the things you did right now or the things you’re planning to do mean anything? Having a big list remind’s me of what’s really important to me so that I can act on them.
My big list opens up my mind to set totally context-free goals where I list anything and everything I ever wanted to do, or achieve in life.
It’s just like planning ahead all the highlights I want for MY whole life . It helps me to maximize every moment of my existence and live my life to the fullest.
